MDC, known for their innovative adjustable-top Intelligent Irons, now offers the MDC Classic Jumper Flex Stirrup Iron, featuring the support of a grippy, wide-based stirrup and providing a traditional look for those purists in the hunter, equitation, and dressage disciplines that may not prefer MDC’s patented top.

The MDC Classic Stirrup Line: Wide Tread Design – Traditional Classic Lines

• More Traction: MDC’s a low profile, aluminum ‘sure grip’ tread delivers more points of traction than traditional cheesegrater pads – you’ll feel like your stirrups are being kept in place with velcro, without tearing up your boots or your saddle
• More Stability: Imagine standing on the narrow end of a 2″ x 4″, then imagine standing on the wide side – the wider the area, the more stable it is, and so is your riding position on a wide footbed
• More Comfort: MDC’s wide footbed design allows for pressure of the foot to be spread over a greater surface area – the greater the surface area for your foot to rest on, the less foot pain you’ll feel
• More Traditional: Although the top of the stirrup is the same as a traditional fillis iron, MDC’s low-profile aluminum footbed is half as thick as a standard fillis iron – once your boots are in the irons, they are practically invisible
